Quick Oats
Ingredients:
½ Cup Quick Oats
¾ Cup Liquid (Non-Dairy Milk Or Water)
How To:
Boil the liquid.
Add quick oats to a bowl.
Once boiling, turn off heat and pour hot water over the bowl and stir.
Allow to sit for about 5-10 minutes and thicken. Enjoy!
Steel Cut Oats
Ingredients:
½ Cup Steel Cut Oats
1 Cup Liquid (Non-Dairy Milk Or Water)
How To:
Boil the liquid.
Once boiling, add the steel cut oats to the pot and reduce to medium-low heat and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from the heat and allow to stand for 2 minutes. Enjoy!
Variations:
Basic with Mixed Berries: Oatmeal mixed with vanilla extract and topped with honey, mixed berries, chia seeds, walnuts
Tiramisu: *Use coffee for ¼ of the liquid, Oatmeal, cacao powder, coconut sugar, dark chocolate chips, vanilla yogurt
Gingerbread Oatmeal: Oatmeal mixed with maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and vanilla extract topped with banana slices, almond butter, pecans, and vanilla yogurt
Chocolate Strawberry: Oatmeal mixed with vanilla extract, pure maple syrup, and cacao powder and topped with strawberries
Peanut Butter & Jelly: Oatmeal mixed with vanilla extract and topped with honey, strawberry fruit spread, peanut butter, and peanuts
Apple Pie: Oatmeal mixed with vanilla extract, pure maple syrup, apple sauce, and cinnamon topped with diced apples, pecans, and cinnamon
Almond Coconut: Oatmeal mixed with vanilla extract and topped with pure maple syrup, shredded coconut, slivered almonds, and chocolate chips
