Quick Oats
Ingredients:
½ Cup Quick Oats
¾ Cup Vegetable Or Chicken Broth
Shredded Carrots
Onion (Diced)
Spinach
Spices: Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Thyme, Sage, Salt, and Pepper
How To:
Chop up the onion and prepare the shredded carrots and spinach.
Boil the broth with the shredded carrots, onion, and spinach.
Add quick oats to a bowl.
Once boiling, turn off heat and pour hot broth and vegetables over the bowl and stir.
Allow to sit for about 5-10 minutes and thicken. Enjoy!
Steel Cut Oats
Ingredients:
½ Cup Steel Cut Oats
1 Cup Vegetable Or Chicken Broth
Shredded Carrots
Onion (Diced)
Spinach
Spices: Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Thyme, Sage, Salt, and Pepper
How To:
Boil the broth.
Once boiling, add the steel cut oats and shredded carrots, onion, and spinach to the pot and reduce to medium-low heat and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from the heat and allow to stand for 2 minutes. Enjoy!
Variations:
