Dry Chickpeas

Prep Time: 5 minutes Cook Time: 1-1 ½ hours Total Time: 1-½ hours and 5 minutes

*Time doesn’t include soaking

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Chickpeas

  • Water

How To:

  1. Soak 1 cup of chickpeas for 12 hours.

  2. Strain and rinse.

  3. Transfer to a pot and fill a few inches higher than chickpeas with water.

  4. Bring to a boil, then bring to a simmer and cover until tender (about 1-1 ½ hours.)

  5. Strain. Enjoy!
