Ingredients:
1 Cup Brown Rice
6+ Cups Water
Dash of Salt
How To:
Rinse 1 cup of brown rice in a fine mesh strainer.
Bring at least 6 cups of water to a boil with a dash of salt.
Add the rice to the boiling water.
Reduce the heat until there is no overflow, but still a steady small boil.
Boil uncovered for 30 minutes.
Strain rice, return it to the pot, and cover with a lid.
Allow it to sit off-heat for 10 minutes.
