Traditional Tacos

Ingredients:
Tortilla: 8 Almond Flour Soft Tortilla
OR Grain Free Hard Shell Tortilla, Grain Free Soft Shell Tortilla, etc.
Base: 1 lb Ground Beef
OR Chicken, Steak, Cauliflower, Beans, Chickpeas, Jackfruit, Quinoa, etc.
Toppings:
½ Cup Shredded Romaine
1 Red Onion Chopped
1 Jalapeno Pepper Chopped
1 Avocado
½ Cup Salsa
4 TBSP Lime Juice
½ Bunch Cilantro, Chopped
OR Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Beans, Radishes, etc.
Seasoning:
~4 TBSP Taco Seasoning OR Mixture of Chili Powder, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Crushed Red Pepper Flakes, Oregano, Paprika, Cumin, Sea Salt, Black Pepper
2 TBSP Tomato Paste
How To:
Add ground beef to a large pan or skillet and saute until browned (about 15 minutes.)
Chop up vegetables and prepare toppings.
Drain fat into a safe, disposable container and return to heat.
Mix taco seasoning with 1 cup of warm water and pour over ground beef. Add 2 TBSP of tomato paste. Saute until thickens to desired consistency.
Place each almond flour tortilla on an ungreased, hot pan over medium heat and allow it to heat on each side for 10-15 seconds to soften.
Fill each tortilla with the ground beef and toppings of choice.

Variations:
Make Vegan or Vegetarian by swapping ground beef with a plant based protein like beans, chickpeas, quinoa, jackfruit, or cauliflower and lessening the amount of water mixed with the seasonings.
