Nut Bites

Ingredients:
1 Cup Crushed Mixed Nuts
⅔ Cup Creamy Almond Butter
½ Cup Freshly Ground Flax Seed
2 TBSP Honey
½ Cup Mini Chocolate Chips
How To:
Crush nuts by putting them into a bag and pounding with a meat tenderizer or blend in a blender to break them into smaller pieces without over blending.
Mix together all ingredients in a bowl.
Put the bowl in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes to make it easier to roll into balls.
Roll them into small bite-sized balls and store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
Variations:
Add protein powder for extra protein
Swap almond butter for peanut butter
Swap almond butter for sunflower seed butter
Swap honey for pure maple syrup
Add superfoods like chia seeds, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, etc.
Notes:
Make vegan by using flax eggs.
Make it whole 30 friendly by omitting sweeteners.
