*Written for Black Beans; check timing recommended on bag of beans or search for how long to simmer if not using black beans.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ Cups Dry Beans

  • Water

How To:

  1. Rinse and soak the beans in a bowl with water for 6-24 hours. 

  2. Add to a pot and cover with 4 inches of water.

  3. Bring to a boil and allow to boil for about 10 minutes.

  4. Bring to a simmer and allow to cook, covered for about 1 hour or until beans are cooked through and can be poked with a fork.

  5. Enjoy!
